The rules:
If you are late you should send an email before 8.15 about why you are late.
If you do not come to school for any reason it should be sent before 8, other occasions should be agreed.

Conclusions:
– there is a problem of communication about latecoming and absence (not sending emails)
– there is a problem in accepting someones latecoming or absence (treatment of a reason)
– it takes a lot of energy to find the right way to explain absence (thinking about what is the valid reason instead of being able to share the real situation)
– different treatment of individuals latecoming or absence which means that some students handle bigger consequences than others (example: person x goes to a dentist and it is a valid excuse, person y goes to the dentist, suffers attacks for not having an appointment outside of school time)
– we dont feel any consequences on our group work in classes or individual work if a school mate is absent, as long as it is not treated from your site as a huge community problem (example: taking 15 min of ballet class, gather everybody and teachers, to speak about absence)
– we dont percieve emails of absence as ultimatums since there are no conditions but clear decisions
– if you would trust our decision about not coming, leaving school,.. there would be no reason to lie or hide and the papers that we sign would have a clear image of the situations – it would show the reality – is the situation "light", seems light or is really bad
– frustration is a part of a process , in case someone is having a lot of negative energy it pulls the class back, sometimes it is better for that person to leave – clear decision, understanding yourself and your affect to the group
– in this school we do not get punished but we do get personal attacks and insults
– time management: individual topics should be treated as individual topics, not as a common public problem. (Example: person x feels wrong and doesnt come to monday classes – as a consequence, the whole group of 28 people have to suffer consequences on forum.)
– we do not feel that we harm each other with our decisions, that we would be unmotivated (example: orsi compared this year with her first year when there was a clear community problem with the group, while this year she feels that it functions well, there are no energy problems)

We believe that rules are necessary for a community to work. The rules are made for us not we are made for the rules.

Dear Iván!

Our group of 7 people were writing down this:

On time management:
-arrive on time
-good to accept the rules we have
-8:15 we start together

On avoiding ultimatums:

– still have a decisions (for yourself) but start a dialogue about it
-propose option/s on how can you solve it together/alone
– Iván please answer that you received the email that we send even thought you disagree

On being responsible for yourself and others:

-if you miss class/es try to talk with the teacher in the break about your questions on the class, don’t take time from the others by questioning on the class
-when missing rehearsal make sure to communicate this with your colleges on time and making a plan how to compensate

On achieving your goals:
-not achieving is also an achievement, you learn from your failure
-it needs time, you try different things until you find what works
-you have to see a direction, you have to follow it, maybe you fail or don’t but you had an experience
-to feel the progress e.g. want to go for a walk but not deciding where to go or changing the pathway during the walk

This letter is from Nina, Yrsa, Kámea, Shlomi, Christina, Aglia and Hanna.

Best regards!

DISCUSSION ON…

HOW WE UNDERSTAND THE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
-school has to be treated like professional company (attitude)
-everything should be communicated open, responsible and honest, (not by excuses or "other authorities" like doctors etc.)
-content  for/of communication:

1.attendance
2.projects
3.hibajelentés

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS
-there is no problem with the system, but we want to feel more relaxed with it and inside of it
-having more objective attitude to the rules (from both sides)
-having objective and clear consequences
-ability to make private decisions without breaking the rules
-mixing and confusing informations:

eg.: Gaja's absence:
communicated in advance
accepted by Iván
after agressive reaction, cutting communication, not closing agressive reaction
-missing communication, no answers on e-mail:

eg.: Kati
no answers from Iván on project application, studio request, consultation appointment
agressive reaction after reminding
-bringing the System to reality has issues

LEVEL OF PERSONALITY IN COMMUNICATION ( and /Private issues in school in general..)

-paradox: we shouldn't bring personal issues to school but at the same time it's required to communicate on a personal level the reasons of absence, being late etc.
(it is not required by rule, but simply by the way it happens)
-bringing personal issues to school(work)?!

Example:
If the performance situation would be Yrsa's LOL piece, but at that day you are fucking sad, you would still have to laugh.

-conclusion: it needs skill to do it
-in a school: we don't have this skill yet, we are learning it!
-the demand of this, as a general state in a school would require to either deny or kill emotions/personal states
-how to deal with this..guidance…approaches?

ACHIVING GOALS
-mentor system: including them more/better into the system
-more guidance in approching ideas/work

EVALUATION
-school feels ok for us, we are active, motivated, and we support each other
-control system is not for us:
it kills autonomy in this way
it makes evaluation black and white

communication, group responsibility

14.05.2018

-absence affects group. Both the independence and enjoyment of the present
members and a sense of communication by the absent parts are beneficial
It is not only giving for the group but as well the work group as energy source
that motivates

time management

-in the moment of sickness we cannot compromise ourselves, therefor a general
principle to commit and participate always, supports. The principle of being
here.
-accepting opens further ways
-routines to fall asleep
-how to calm when late rehearsing?
Balance energy between overwhelmed and weak

goals

-work with body and mind how it is in this moment.
Gently test limit and go beyond it a bit every day newly.
Learn how is a way to wake up and trust myself each day.
Concentrate focussed for only few tasks at a time. Research and find interest
and joy in the question. mind simple: one step, next step
