a letter on – performing possibilities

Question at Forum in 2018 spring:
"Why group B has more public performance possibilities than group A? The school should organize more public perfromances for all students as that improves their performance routine. "

Performing artists' training is based on the harmony of dance technical, creative and practice based theoretical training areas. It is true: the creative activity is inseparable from the presentation of the work to the comprehension and processing of the feedback received during and after the performance.

The evaluation of the usefulness of public actions can only depend on the individual assessment of the individual and the production in question, but in general it can be said that at the beginning of the studies there is less importance towards this end. Public performances are not part of the academic curriculum and/or examination requirements. In the case of public events, the artistic aspects are of primary prevalence upon the agreement of the artistic and production leaders of the given production. The casting is based on the agreement of the artistic and production leader(s). The invited students undertake or do not undertake the invitation and are allowed to refuse the invitation. The school is open to personal or group initiatives, but is not obligated to provide full participation in productions or to provide production support for each initiative.

From a pedagogical point of view, the school will support the public presentation of successful productions and actions only. In home shows, we ensure that all supported creative processes should be presented within the school.

We are not supporting to create or show publicly any productions that seem objectionable, doubtful or object of a possible failure or are incompatible with the artistic pedagogical principles of the school.
