ZOLTÁN FARKAS BATYU

He was born in 1956 in Nagykanizsa. Dancer, choreographer. He finished his professional studies in 1975 at the National Ballet Institute. In 1985 he graduated from the Pedagogue – Cultural Educatior programme in Eger, later gained a Certified Dance Teacher diploma at the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy. In between 1975–1984 he was a solo dancer of the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble. He has been teaching both in Hungary and internationally (e.g. in the U.S.) as well; led several dance house events.

The course helps discovering the movements and rhythmic patterns of the Carpathian Basin.
