KRISTINA ZAKERNICHNA
WORKPLAN | 2017 September
1. At the beginning.
I want to start with small pieces.
Search a methods of movements.
2.Workout for my body. Work on technic. Muscle training.
3. Work in pairs.
4. Improve my English.
5. Read more.
SUMMARY | 2017 December
This semester was very interesting and useful for me:
1. I began to understand and feel my body much better, start to pay attention to breathing (what I’ve almost never done before).
Feel more confident in space now.
2. I noticed that if I improvise without a specific task, then I really feel interesting movements and feelings at this moment. But after, I immediately forget almost everything I did. But when I give a specific task, it is easier for me to remember the movements. Maybe because they start repeating. I need to work with this much more. And also I like a lot to dance / work with rhythm.
3. In the dance strategy and composition for myself I want to make more clarity. Because in classes, when there is a certain strategy, everything is quite clear. But when I start working on my "own" strategy … This is an interesting question for me 🙂
4. Theoretical lessons are going well. We study – discuss – share our thoughts. I often observe how a dancer can share his thoughts, opinions, experiences in words and without any words.
5. Teachers and students are very open and good people. Always ready to support and give advise. I think we feel very comfortable and friendly together.
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2017 December
Angelus Iván:
Dear Group A members!
In general I can tell you that you – the group as a unit – seem to have built up a good balance of keeping your individual development in the centre and the same time, learning how to know more abut each other and how to accept each other. Sometimes it will be good to be more independent and proactive to encourage each other a bit more to organize, accept and focus on open possibilities, potentials, obligations, time frames, deadlines, etc. If the group is more efficient, everybody's own efforts will be more efficient. (And vice-versa.)
Anyway the time – four months or more – of assimilation, integration should have been finished. Once you know and understand the local processes, methods you should concentrate on the successful use of them in order to reach your own goals, why you joined BCDA. This process will be complete when you finish the first year, a full study cycle.
Iván
Dear Kristina!
I think you had a relatively successful semester. You survived the period of adaptation. Next semester needs already a much more conscious, more proactive attitude. Make simple and realistic plans. Share it with some of your teachers, ask if they consider them realistic or not. Realize them. Take notes. Learn how to use a diary. Learn how to use a calendar. How to read and understand a text. How to listen and understand your teacher's advices. You are on the good way, a bit slow yet. Show this and other summaries to your mother. I will be happy to answer her questions if any.

Szegedy-Maszák Zsuzsanna:
Enthusiastic and curious group, lots of questions, comments and input. Some are very knowledgeable on art, others seem to have some difficulty relating to some of the subject matter (biblical, mythological and historical narratives). Class discussions are sometimes so lively that we run out of time and are unable to finish the material I wanted to cover during the given class period. The atmosphere is mostly upbeat, although I understand that sometimes after several hours of physical workout it is hard to suddenly sit down in a dark room and listen to a lecture. Overall I have the impression that most of the students would rather have more visits to exhibitions.
Curious but quiet in class.
Tijen Lawton:
Unity of the body as a whole, as a personality, that needs to be further investigated and nourished by finding strength though understanding that your body working on the floor and your body standing and moving in space are the same, organising your body as a surface, as a core and in it’s extremities .A lot of the work is in analysis of detail and risk taking.Continue work on connectivity throughout the body, using both the body as a whole as well as in extreme detail to be able to elaborate with further elements and dynamics.
The body sometimes looses its physical energy and dynamic when the mind takes over too much. Do not loose this thinking with the mind, but try and work together with the physical thinking and the trust you can find in the physical intelligence. Work on this connectivity through out the whole body through a form of body consciousness that allows for strength, abandon and control. Bring the floor support to standing work and find a more powerful core, by investigating further your upper/lower body connection. Work with the ground even when you are standing and moving in space to be able to elaborate further with detailed risk. Think about the space you create with your body. Risk the abandon further, find and understand the control through your core and extremities and then deviate. Really looking forward to continue this research together.
Mészáros Máté:
good energy and power in the classes. stay open for the others in the room to be able to adapt for all possible conditions. very good in learning and personalizing the learnt material
Marco Torrice:
The group was generally really attentive and communicative, carrying on a light concentration and opening an honest and efficient space of questions and observations.
It is definitely to early to say something specific about her. She was a pretty enigmatic dancer to me. I had the impression her body is quite ‘prepared’ but at the same time she had hard time to get the principles of the work. This is not necessary a bad thing, especially considering that sometime the more our boy knows, the more we have hard time to get new informations.
Szemessy Kinga:
In general I found you being a very intrigued group with trust and curiosity towards me and the class content. Keep these good energies and the curious listening to each others.
Even if it is a great challange for you to engage in conversations in English, you invested a great effort in it, mostly in the second part of the semester. I am quite sure that in your questions you often articulate not only your, but several others’ confusion, too. Keep being ethusiastic and courageous, because your thoughts count a lot.
Bögöthy Ádám:
Kristina started to learn the guitar this year so we are now working on basics of playing it. Unfortunately she told me few times that she didn't have the opportunity for practicing (because of traveling abroad and she don't have guitar) but I think she has a big talent. Hopefully we will moving a bit quicker in the studies next semester.
Kováts Tibor:
Kedves Kristina! Elégedett vagyok a munkáddal!
Dear Kristina! Thank you for working so peristently and steadily in the first semester! You get better and better understanding of what I think about ballet and this comes visible on your motion. Your rotation, your coordination, and your jumping are developing fine. It would be very important that in the second semester your movements came more delicate and you should use the information you receive on a daily basis more consciously. I'm happy with your job!
Bakó Tamás:
I appreciated a lot how you worked in the classes! You are devoted and curious.
Noticeably your dance comes from an authentic place. You access and organize your body/movements in an individual way. Which at some cases helps you to understand right away but at others not really. You will have to find your ways to grasp and unfold the logic of the material in all situations. Recognizing and exploring the potential of the anatomical and physical principles will support your understanding of the body and dance generally.
WORKPLAN | 2018 January
My workplan for second semester:
1. Beginning with the holidays – make a video about the sea and the lighthouse for the next project
2. In January, think about the idea and theme of my project. Practice methods.
3. Analyze the errors that were in the past period. To fix this.
4. Physically develop my body, find new methods for movements. Dance. Study. Enjoy.
5. Participate in other projects.
6. Work on technique in dance.
7. Improve guitar skills, reading and English.
WORKPLAN | 2018 January
My observation about this year.
1. I got huge experience during year of study in this school. This education system is absolutely new for me. What I really liked was working with different teachers. Different teachers = different interesting information. Due to the fact that teachers work with us in a certain schedule, we can say alternating. It makes my brain learn information faster and what's important learned not to lose it during time.
2. Compared with the beginning of the school year. Now I realize that I have become more sociable with people and more responsible approach to adherence the schedule / rules in school. I think that I manage it quite well. But I am still working with it. I would like to have more performances with the guys next year. Be together in the same process.
3. In terms of dance technique, I feel stronger and more confident. I appreciate very much Tibor’s ballet classes. I would like to have ballet lessons more systematic, without interruptions. I really appreciate all the technical classes of Contemporary technic that were this year. My vocabulary of movements getting more richer with each of them. This is an endless process, I want to absorb information more. I understood that I need to work more with this information individually. More experiment with it.
4. Classes of theory was also different from the education system in which I was. I like our group task and long conversations in the dance / art studies and English classes. I approve that everyone can express their opinion about different topics and share their experience. This brings us very close as a group. It would be great to have a class of anatomy and philosophy next year. I like the guitar classes. It's very hard to practice a guitar when you get tired physically. I need to learn how to work with this and correctly allocate time and energy. But I get full enjoyment on these classes.
• Conclusion:
I began to notice not only what is happening to me (personal) but also what is happening around me. I think it’s very important thing as for dancer and as a human. I think this year was good for me. But there is always room to grow! 🙂
Thanks school for this year!
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2018 June
Angelus Iván:
General notes to the group: Group A's cohesion, general level of demand, work intensity is far from an efficient state. Low levels are very low, higher levels are not very high. Differences are big and do not converge. Tasks mostly remain asks: both on individual and on group level are almost never completely fulfilled. The acceptance of mediocrity is a danger. The often tired and depressed atmosphere + the lack of successful initiatives, playfulness, joy doesn't help successful learning.
Talent is still present, strong motivation is there on the level of words, but persistence, diligence, high energy, stability, concentration, health, self demand are missing from daily practice in general.
I have added a short categorization: Excellent, good, weak, failed. All refer to your actual state as a prospective contemporary dance performing artist from my point of view as your teacher. Do not accept, improve.
Personal notes: You are still late and partial in understanding, superficial in realizing, easy to forget what you knew already. In one year You should have developed more in learning strategies, general attitude, on the technical and artistic level. Your aptitude, satisfactory capabilities are not enough to achieve serious results in dance. Invest MUCH MORE spiritual and quality physical work. I hope next season you can grow up to the task.
Bakó Tamás:
I appreciate a lot the way you work in the classes! You work hard and committed. The material of the class is not unfamiliar to you but it needs more investigation and study. Your dance has its own logic and characteristics. You access and organize your body/movements in an individual way. It gives you vocabulary and ground. Mostly it helps you to understand and access things right away but it can also set you on other tracks. You need to find more ways to grasp and unfold the logic of the material in order to have more clarity and precision. The support and understanding of the structure and alignment are present I perceive a new kind of articulating and opening in the body compared to before. Great work!
Szemessy Kinga:
In the first semester you faced lots of difficulties, for instance the language barrier, but in that period I saw your endeavour in each action of yours. Now you often use the classes for an easy afternoon nap instead. What have happened?
Tijen Lawton:
Focus on connectivity and awareness…a mindful training of the brain and body.Challenge the physical intelligence, strength and movement capacity.
This is an intense a difficult way of working, it takes time, and the results are rewarding and can create a versatile dancer or performer. Therefore patience ant persistence are essential. Work is needed to continue to find the centre and grounded force through connecting the extremities of the body through the centre and using the floor work to establish a base of strength and support. So using the transfer of weight in the floor work and searching for all possible points of support and resistance…combining fluidity and strength and then incorporate it into standing work and moving in space.
Joe Alegado és Csasznyi Blanka:
General notes to the group: We would like to make a general comment concerning the students. We feel that, even though each of them are individuals with different needs and capabilities, as a group, we find them to be very inspiring and supportive of each other. Whenever one person is missing from class or is experiencing a difficult time in life, the others step in to create a support system by helping with movements from class or with words of encouragement. This communal approach is a very positive step in the direction of resolving issues arising from misunderstandings in movement concepts and principles, or life situations. As mentioned before, each student has individual needs and capabilities. In the Alegado Movement Language, there are very basic principles which, when discovered, can determine the quality and focus of every individual’s source of movement. One very basic principle is the acceptance of gravity and its effect on the quality of the movement. The dropping of the head in its forward descent to the basic curve, is one of the principles we have chosen to focus on. As a group, we have seen progress in the students as they have begun to embrace the idea of surrendering their weight to gravity. This action has accomplished several things: 1) the conquering of fear 2) the effect on each student’s plie 3) the student’s ability to use that plie in shifting the pelvis 4) the application of a strong and active core and how all of these elements are applied to translate into a musical and physical expression of the body through movement. This has been a focus in class because, in doing so, it will help resolve the difficulties a dancer has when trying to access their deepest, most organic connection to the earth. When this release of the body’s unnecessary tensions happens and their weight begins to fall without fear, the student’s ability to risk grows, their awareness is heightened, their musicality is awakened and their confidence in moving through space becomes a natural force of energy. We will now continue by using these class objectives as the basis for all comments.
Personal notes: Kristina is a bright light with regards to her energy in class. This energy translates into a good approach and attitude towards learning. Consequently, when Kristina gets a correction, her positive energy doesn’t allow her to stay down after a mistake. She will keep working and working on it. Sometimes a correction from either Blanka or myself doesn’t travel from her brain to her body but, her good attitude doesn’t let her stop working. This is a good sign. It says no matter what happens, she will keep searching.
Eventually, with the proper information flowing through the body, the movement will come out strong and committed. When this happens, Kristina shines both with her energy and her movement quality.
Kováts Tibor:
Kedves Kristina! Köszönöm a munkádat!
WORKPLAN | 2018 September
The three main components of this semester for me:
* Work on the technique and its development in my style and my submission. Practice the information given to us and develop it further in my direction. Go deeper into it even more. In this way I will get information much richer.
Also to develop much more stretching and plasticity in the body (for reason to get more freedom in my body)
* Staging my composition.
More fix the material and find my patterns. Ask the techniques of my classmates how they come up and fix a material. What they pay most attention to.
Get information from different people – to make a conclusion for yourself.
* Musicality.
With music and in silence.
I want to develop more musicality inside the body. There are several tasks that I will do:
1. Improvisation with the chosen instrumental music, paying attention to the details in the melody itself. Giving one specific task to the body (lines / momentum / speed, etc.) 2. Improm in silence, but to repeat the accents that were present in the previous melody. Play this melody with your body in silence. 3. Impro with absolutely unfamiliar music. Task – catch the moment. Here and now.
SUMMARY | 2018 December
My reasoning about this semester.
Starting from the creative week, I noticed that communication between us (students from different groups) became much easier and more open. Each had specific goals and motivations, which was a good “start” to start the school year in such an inspiring direction.
From the very beginning of the period, I started working differently than last year. Whatever the daily routine was not boring and monotonous, I did a plan of individual work not only for school, but also for outside life. From these tasks what I made, I could choose in which way I would like to work today. The main goal was to work on yourself daily from the physical side and from the creative side; as a person, as a dancer. But you always have possibility to choose how you will work. I think that this semester with individual work was successful and I will continue.
The project “Me and emptiness in the space“ which I worked at the beginning of the period was a good experience. Since there was a long process of drawing up tasks for improvisation on different parts of the body, which I explained to girls from group A. It was very interesting to see the process from the outside and observe how the body develops and reacts / moves to certain tasks. I also wanted to participate in my project, but I saw that my participants need help and a look from outside, more accurate explanations and feedback. I felt more like a teacher and an observer. As a result, I received a very good and open feedback from them. After this project, my communication with group A became much better.
On classes this year, I feel more relaxed and presize. Last year I was serious on classes, I would say too serious. In this case, I did not see what was happening around. This creates stiffness in the body and head. Everything is much easier than I think. It is a big change of this semester for me.
The biggest and most important place in this period for me is participation in the Leo performance.
During work, I felt and had noticed all the time how I change individually and how we worked together with our girls crew. I really liked the quality and character of the movement that was in this production. I discovered that this is part of my dance style. I will definitely work on it. Also, the learning and construction of choreography was quite intense and the work process itself was different from the ones I danced. I did not see any problems in the individual work for performance, there was always something to work on. Luca helped us a lot with constructive critics and energy, necessary advices. The rehearsals in Trafo were calm for me, I would really like to learn more information about lighting and sound in English. It is interesting to observe the process, but after “two hours” in the dark room without moving and almost no speaking, the energy gel low.
We performed two performances in one day. They were completely different from each other. In my opinion, in the afternoon we were more precise with quality in performance, but there was not enough energy and life in dance. In the evening I already felt the energy and strength in the dance. Maybe the quality was a bit lower than in the afternoon but I can say that for all the runs of this performance, I really enjoyed the last performance.
This semester was very intense and informative for me.
Thanks for this period!
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2018 December
Szegedy-Maszák Zsuzsa:
I don't know why when submitting my answers Kristina Zakernichna appears as if I were required to fill in her grade, she was in the art studies class last year.
Kováts Tibor:
Nagyon elszántan és folyamatosan motiváltan dolgozol! Igyekszel az instrukciókat megérteni és megvalósítani. A mozgásod összképe sokat javult, egységesebb lett. A forgásod sokat javult, stabilabb lett! A lábfej munkád lehetne viszont precízebb.
General notes to the group:
It is my general note, not only to group A-B, or C but for the whole of the students, that it is a heartwarming how you grew into a good and functioning community. It is great to see you supporting each other.
Personal notes:
You have made quite a progression in the last couple of months. I would encourage you to keep on exploring your qualities and keep on working. But remember, working sometimes does not involve physical effort, sometimes it means to relax, another time it means letting go of direct control.
Angelus Iván:
General notes to the group:
In this semester I had the chance to meet all of you in the three main territories of our school: 1. sharing new information, 2. developing your creativity, 3. developing your social skills. I feel myself and you successful in point one and two, and I have hard time at point 3. with all of you. This is because of the social environment surrounding us. Solving this difficulty is the task itself. The level of cooperation and sincereness is that makes difference in the common success.
My short evaluations will be strict and related to your development related to school requirements:
I will tick Excellent box at who are developing well, basically in harmony with school guidelines, hopefully will reach their goal to become a professional contemporary dancer.
I will sign Satisfactory/Good at those who could make (much) more in their own sake.
I will sign Failed at those who do not live with their possibilities and should change their attitude in order to become more successful or to those who are on the right way to find their own direction that may be out of the school's profile. It can be considered a success too. Failed may mean you have to work on your trajectory out of school or it may mean to stay in school but work on a higher level.
Personal notes:
Dear Kristina! Good to see that when you start working, you are able to achieve results. With much harder, much more regular, much more concentrated work, you could become a dancer. Without that your carrier will be short if you get possibilities at all. You are very stubborn, hard to collaborate with, or only superficially cooperative. This may be a strong obstacle of your progress. Hope you can start in depth work.
Urvi Vora:
General notes to the group:
After my brief, intensive interaction with everyone, I have very much enjoyed reading the diverse essays from all of you – very different approaches, levels and processes. My feedback is focussed on your essay and I hope it helps you think of how to push it forward from here as there is always much more to do.
Good luck with all your future plans and upcoming work in the school! It was wonderful to see all your thoughts turn into something on paper!
Personal notes:
I found the essay very short even though there is an interesting proposition being made. You do need to make a more detailed argument for the reader to get convinced and follow your point and understand what you want to convey.
You are very precise about the distinctions you make. However, as you are comparing two very different things ‘movement’ and ‘what we do’ – it is a confusing comparison. At the end you make very interesting statements, but again they are not explained in detail in the essay.
You make some very curious and brave propositions but as this is a philosophy essay, I encourage you to find ways in which your argument is more clear and detailed so the reader is with you and understands you.
Bakó Tamás:
You did a very good job in the classes. You are committed and hardworking.
Lots of improvement happened in the last period. I perceive more stability and trust in the organization of the movements and posture. The use of right amount of effort and release moved as well to a place where there is more skill and control. Relationships of the body parts according to the whole, directions of the movements and their spatial relationships are better understood and organized.
I wrote the last time: The material of the class is not unfamiliar to you but it needs more investigation and study – By now I see the attempt and progress of relating to the material more and the understanding of the logic. Agility and intention meets more the task and focus. Great work!
MENTOR'S SUMMARY | 2018 December
WORKPLAN | 2019 January
My workplan for the second semester:
Classes – keep focusing on classes both individually and as part of the group. Be more tolerant and aware of what is happening around me. To work much deeper with materials. I want to remove the wall between what I like and what i don’t like, make myself work harder from all sides. It will give my body more options and information. I want to work more with material from the classes and find out for myself what the main focus of my dance style, what I want and don’t want to do as a dancer / choreographer / teacher in the future. I want to find ways to work productively when I am tired or in an "weird state." To work on the mental and emotional state, don’t be distracted by trifles.
Individual work and creative projects – I will continue to keep a diary with my individual work, as I did in the first semester. To be more disciplined in practice, to work more on the quality of movement. It is difficult for me to work individually in the studio when there are a lot of people there. I noticed that I often lose focus, so I will work hard not to be distracted by anything and work with myself.
In creative work it was always easier for me to work alone. I want to communicate more with other dancers. This semester, I will work on my presenting. Don’t get lost while dancing, have strong focus in the eyes and don’t look down; be more calm and present.
Physicality – Improve the condition of muscles and joints, remove tightness in the body. Pay more attention to stretching / relaxing after classes and rehearsals.
Work much more with the center and be more grounded, more stable in the legs (be in plié), relax upper body.
Search for new qualities of movement, find new ways how I can dance. And at the same time I want to improve my movement quality, make it more specific and concrete.
In ballet, first of all I want to pay attention to my “gymnastic back”, work on a flat back. Work with the body consciously, honestly accept my possibilities and structure of the body. Work with imperfections. Continue working on turnings and balance in the middle.
Private Life
Become more disciplined in the academy and outside.
Talk more with people, be more open.
Be calmer and learn how to control my emotions.
Appreciate free time and spend it for myself.
SUMMARY | 2019 June
This year was stronger from the physical side than from the creative one for me.
This year gave me new experiences – as a dancer, as an artist, as a teacher (in the future), as a person in general.
Classes
On classes, my focus has become much wider. Now the group is working cooperatively and better oriented in the space. I began to quickly grasp the material and pay attention to small details. I realized how useful it is for a dancer to go deep into information, to devote time to practice, and not to rush into switching to another things. It helped me in creating my own combinations, choreography and improvisational tasks. I really wish to have more classes with Ti Mai. It was a very useful class, not only from the technical side but also from the side of the “discovery” of thinking.
In ballet, I noticed improvements in working with the center and core. Thus, the axis of the body has changed in a good way, and it helps me a lot in turning. My balance in the body is much stable. This year I paid attention to release in the movements (not only in dance, in the daily routine also). I keep observing it. This is not perfect all the time, but I can more and more notice the problem right away and work with it.
On folk dance, I began to enjoy with my whole soul. I used to have this approach – I can repeat the combination very easily, and only then I will pay attention to accents and musicality. But now my thinking has changed. I pay attention to “the second one” and then the movement becomes alive and present.
Individual work
Now I’m following up the diary and plan. Not just individual work – for the whole day. Yes, I can clearly say now that it is very helpful for me to organize my day. It helps me to allocate time correctly and the workflow became more progressive.
I believe that if a person wants to work and improve himself – It will happen.. The written or electronic form helps me. At first, I do it for myself and I think that writing it again on the Internet does not help me and it makes no sense.
Projects
At the beginning of the second semester, I worked on the “when you brush”. To improve the quality of movement and work on my presents on stage. I worked on relaxing the facial muscles, which turned out to be difficult. But now I have noticed a big change in a good direction. Quality of the performance inspired me a lot. I made my choreography with a similar quality of movement. That the enjoyable moments which I wish to have more.
Looking at the positive feedbacks from the audience and one negative feedback. I accept everything. Keep on working!
In the second half of the second semester, I am working on a research – Ukrainian folk dance and contemporary dance. It is the first task in my life like this and the workflow is rather complicated. Since I focus on one task and it takes too much time. Ukrainian dance itself is very complex and characteristic. I learned it three years ago for very short period and now I don’t feel him completely in my body.
Physicality
Physicality itself, that’s what I want to go with.
The year was quite intense. I feel strength and good persistence in the body. These two factors also point to the problem areas to which I should pay more attention – relaxation and harmony in the body.
The main tasks with which I work and I will always practice are grounding, strong and mobile center and core.
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2019 June
Thimai Nguyen
General notes to the group:
WHILE DANCING
1-Don’t forget to include the head and the sternum in your dancing.
2-Use the momentum of each part of the body to go from one movement to the other.
3-NO NOISE on the floor: The body should melt while going to the floor, and when you run
the weight should be in the front of the foot.
4-Hands, arms long, alive always, reaching out.
5-Legs, ankles and pelvis release fully. FOR REAL!
6-Take care of every transition in what ever you do.
7-TAKE YOUR TIME- ENJOY- PLAY!! Challenge the public and yourself, tease or choose an
angle to approach the public but it should not be mental. You have to jump in the swimming
pool and warm up the water yourself.
8- STOP THINKING. FEEL.
9- Be connected with the other dancer in the room, use and play with there body rhythm, an
intelligent dancer is someone that feels and sees everything. Let go your instinct.
10-RUNING: Never on your heels, the body should be in a diagonal, and the leg behind HAS
TO BE far away and long. NO SHORT LEGS.
Personal notes:
Beautiful dancer.
No more weight on the heels. You have to work on your centre, push the floor with the foot.
Go to run! Don’t forget to take big positions to be able to stay stable, go more down.
Make improvisation where you really use the momentum of the body parts for REAL!
Use suspensions, long one, and take care that your transitions between the movements are very smooth. TAKE MORE YOUR TIME so you can change rhythm and play!
Play with your body it should contaminate your face. Don’t be too serious. And enjoy every proposition you show us.
Isabel Duarte
General notes to the group:
Group A & B were very receptive to everything I bring to class and every task I proposed for them to do. everybody dedicated and worked hard for the workshop. wonderful to see such enthusiasm.
Personale notes:
very hard worker with an outstanding result in the presentation. well done.
Várnagy Kristóf
General notes to the group:
Dear ppl,
This term, due to holidays, and other scheduling reasons I have had considerably less time with you than during the first semester, so I have less material to work with. However, I wish to reflect on your progress from the first term to the second.
Also, I would like to be transparent about my grading system, and hereby give you an explanation, what means what. So as your teacher I have to grade your work on the following scale: Fail, Satisfactory, Excellent
-fail: you can fail by not attending enough classes, or by not achieving adequate progress
-satisfactory: you are being present, however not sufficiently consistent in your work, or not fully embodying yet the concept of the class
-excellent: you can score excellent if your process is clearly seen in your work
Personale notes:
You have started the second semester with a bit of slop, and it took quite a while for you to find the ground again. Your focus wasn`t always there, your work time to time fell apart. On the other hand, you have been working better than ever in the last two weeks. I must say it is nerve-racking to watch you for months, working way below your standards when you are capable of brilliance. A lesson to be learned here is that no matter what are the circumstances you can not allow yourself to drop under a certain level. Not for me, but for your own sake. Being a good dancer not only means to be technically good, but it also means that you are reliable, and your level of performance is consistent.

General notes to the group:
Viszont ezek a kihagyott órák, látszanak a teljesítményeden! Sokszor csámpás a lábfejed a passé helyzetben. Nem javult a bedőlt boka probléma, ami kihat a derék problémára, ami nem elég egyenes. A forgások elég jók. Remélem, a jövőben többet fogsz járni balettre és ezeket a hibákat ki fogod javítani! Nagyon köszönöm a munkádat!

I hope you will find somewhere else the environment to develop yourself more successfully than you could here, and you will profit of what you missed here. Actually everybody can do it anywhere after facing to inside and outside reality.
