SUMMARY | 2017 December
1: Elégededtség:
– a térdfájás leküzdése
– a saját főzés is egész jól ment a végére
– az összes órát (elméletieket is) élvezem.
+ alakul a kapcsolódás a többiekkel
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2017 December
Angelus Iván:
Dear Group A members!
In general I can tell you that you – the group as a unit – seem to have built up a good balance of keeping your individual development in the centre and the same time, learning how to know more abut each other and how to accept each other. Sometimes it will be good to be more independent and proactive to encourage each other a bit more to organize, accept and focus on open possibilities, potentials, obligations, time frames, deadlines, etc. If the group is more efficient, everybody's own efforts will be more efficient. (And vice-versa.)
Anyway the time – four months or more – of assimilation, integration should have been finished. Once you know and understand the local processes, methods you should concentrate on the successful use of them in order to reach your own goals, why you joined BCDA. This process will be complete when you finish the first year, a full study cycle.
Iván
Kedves Zsófi!
Nagyon értetlenül indultál. Megpróbáltál gyors sikereket aratni a régi eszközökkel.

Enthusiastic and curious group, lots of questions, comments and input. Some are very knowledgeable on art, others seem to have some difficulty relating to some of the subject matter (biblical, mythological and historical narratives). Class discussions are sometimes so lively that we run out of time and are unable to finish the material I wanted to cover during the given class period. The atmosphere is mostly upbeat, although I understand that sometimes after several hours of physical workout it is hard to suddenly sit down in a dark room and listen to a lecture. Overall I have the impression that most of the students would rather have more visits to exhibitions.
She seems very curious, likes to question things, has a good command of critical thinking.
Tijen Lawton:
Unity of the body as a whole, as a personality, that needs to be further investigated and nourished by finding strength though understanding that your body working on the floor and your body standing and moving in space are the same, organising your body as a surface, as a core and in it’s extremities .A lot of the work is in analysis of detail and risk taking.Continue work on connectivity throughout the body, using both the body as a whole as well as in extreme detail to be able to elaborate with further elements and dynamics.
The body sometimes looses its physical energy and dynamic when the mind takes over too much. Do not loose this thinking with the mind, but try and work together with the physical thinking and the trust you can find in the physical intelligence. Work on this connectivity through out the whole body through a form of body consciousness that allows for strength, abandon and control. Bring the floor support to standing work and find a more powerful core, by investigating further your upper/lower body connection. Work with the ground even when you are standing and moving in space to be able to elaborate further with detailed risk. Think about the space you create with your body. Risk the abandon further, find and understand the control through your core and extremities and then deviate. Really looking forward to continue this research together.
Mészáros Máté:
fly as high and far as you can, coz you can. good attitude on the classes and energy
Marco Torrice:
The group was generally really attentive and communicative, carrying on a light concentration and opening an honest and efficient space of questions and observations.
She had a great energy and a nice light concentration. Too early to say something more specific. Keep up the work!
Remélem hasonlóan tudunk haladni a második félévben is.
Lemesánszky Mónika:
We had a great group this past term, where everyone was motivated and listened to instructions well. I really hope you can keep this up next term as well.
Ösztönösen jó mozgásod van, ráérzel dolgokra. Előképzettséged miatt tudod milyen lépésekről, gyakorlatokról van szó. Mindig tudod a sorrendet, és a következő órán is emlékszel rá. Már több hozott hibádat sikeresen javítottad, jó úton haladsz. Tested is változott némileg.
Szemessy Kinga:
In general I found you being a very intrigued group with trust and curiosity towards me and the class content. Keep these good energies and the curious listening to each others.
I appreciate the way you work in the classes. You are active and excited about the form and never forget the joy of dance. You are a natural mover and have good eyes to read forms and qualities. You also seem to be interested about the approaches and the ideas this practice includes. Like physicality, functionality, touch, listening, partnership, improvisation. Working trough these ideas opens
the perspectives about the notion of dance. Recognizing the potential of the physical principles and characteristic accesses to the body from the point of view of Contact offers new ways and wider ground to practice and explore dance.
WORKPLAN | 2018 January
1 Ballet:
Hajlékonyságot visszahozása (1,5perc minden egyénin, mindnen írányú spárga + Zsuzsa féle hátnyújtás)
Belső felsőcombizom erősítés
Egyensúly fejlesztés (boka körüli izmok, +központ)
Ugrások ( akár az egyensúlynál)
2 Néptánc:
Pontosság fejlesztés -> a ritmus megértése "szöveg" umtata mondása segít

SUMMARY | 2018 June
A bemelegítésemmel elégedett vagyok.
Nincs értelme számomra a „kortárs technika” kifejezésnek.
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2018 June
Lemesánszky Mónika:
General notes to the group: The group worked well together all year and had good energy throughout.
Personal notes: Abszolút stabil, megbízható vagy. Mindig emlékszel a gyakorlatokra, jó energiákkal dolgozol. Központodat jól tartod. A vállöveden kell sokat dolgozni, ami összefügg a kartartással. Ugrásaid rengeteget fejlődtek dinamikában és magasságban egyaránt.
Angelus Iván:
General notes to the group: Group A's cohesion, general level of demand, work intensity is far from an efficient state. Low levels are very low, higher levels are not very high. Differences are big and do not converge. Tasks mostly remain asks: both on individual and on group level are almost never completely fulfilled. The acceptance of mediocrity is a danger. The often tired and depressed atmosphere + the lack of successful initiatives, playfulness, joy doesn't help successful learning.
Talent is still present, strong motivation is there on the level of words, but persistence, diligence, high energy, stability, concentration, health, self demand are missing from daily practice in general.
I have added a short categorization: Excellent, good, weak, failed. All refer to your actual state as a prospective contemporary dance performing artist from my point of view as your teacher. Do not accept, improve.
Personal notes: Én így láttam: Az év első hónapjainak útvesztőiben való bolyongás után kissé magadhoz térve egyre stabilabban láttál munkához. Kezdesz elérni saját határaidig. Ideje megkezdeni a továbblépést.
You were active in the classes worked with devotion and joy. You are a natural mover with a good understanding of your capacities and availabilities. The material of the class is close and seemingly triggering to you. It gives you an empowering challenge. You made lot of improvement on clarity and functionality. Movements are better understood and formed. Coordination, relationships of the body parts according to the body movement and space are better understood and investigated. Nevertheless structure and alignment needs more understanding and support, but I perceive a shift toward new kind of opening and lengthening in the body compared to before. Great work!
Szemessy Kinga:
Tijen Lawton:
Focus on connectivity and awareness…a mindful training of the brain and body.Challenge the physical intelligence, strength and movement capacity.
This is an intense a difficult way of working, it takes time, and the results are rewarding and can create a versatile dancer or performer. Therefore patience ant persistence are essential. Work is needed to continue to find the centre and grounded force through connecting the extremities of the body through the centre and using the floor work to establish a base of strength and support. So using the transfer of weight in the floor work and searching for all possible points of support and resistance…combining fluidity and strength and then incorporate it into standing work and moving in space.Very present and interesting and your curiosity makes you improve. Very detailed in your intelligence and intuitive in challenging your physically. Keep being curious and instinctive. Bring your awareness even further into space and be aware of the outside/inside focus of your movements and therefor being more aware of what you are creating in space. Pleasure to talk and discuss with you and to watch your curiosity moving.Looking forward to the future movement in space and in the studio.
Joe Alegado és Csasznyi Blanka:
General notes to the group: We would like to make a general comment concerning the students. We feel that, even though each of them are individuals with different needs and capabilities, as a group, we find them to be very inspiring and supportive of each other. Whenever one person is missing from class or is experiencing a difficult time in life, the others step in to create a support system by helping with movements from class or with words of encouragement. This communal approach is a very positive step in the direction of resolving issues arising from misunderstandings in movement concepts and principles, or life situations. As mentioned before, each student has individual needs and capabilities. In the Alegado Movement Language, there are very basic principles which, when discovered, can determine the quality and focus of every individual’s source of movement. One very basic principle is the acceptance of gravity and its effect on the quality of the movement. The dropping of the head in its forward descent to the basic curve, is one of the principles we have chosen to focus on. As a group, we have seen progress in the students as they have begun to embrace the idea of surrendering their weight to gravity. This action has accomplished several things: 1) the conquering of fear 2) the effect on each student’s plie 3) the student’s ability to use that plie in shifting the pelvis 4) the application of a strong and active core and how all of these elements are applied to translate into a musical and physical expression of the body through movement. This has been a focus in class because, in doing so, it will help resolve the difficulties a dancer has when trying to access their deepest, most organic connection to the earth. When this release of the body’s unnecessary tensions happens and their weight begins to fall without fear, the student’s ability to risk grows, their awareness is heightened, their musicality is awakened and their confidence in moving through space becomes a natural force of energy. We will now continue by using these class objectives as the basis for all comments.
Personal notes: Zsofi has a presence and attitude about her work in class which allows her to be conscious about the information she receives in class and how she distributes it throughout her body. At times, it is clear her intelligence is actively working things out yet, there are times when the corrections remain in her head and have not had time to be transported to the necessary points in the body. When the corrections do make their way through her mental process and into her body, the result is quite beautiful and soulful.

SUMMARY | 2018 December
Összehasonlítva a tervemmel.
1. erő: Sikeresen követtem a tervemet.
Gondolok itt arra, hova akarok menni Erasmusra. Azt is könnyebb elhelyeznem, hol vagyok most, ennek segítségével.
A naplóírást is folytatni akarom, segít megismerni a működésemet, átlátni a munkámat.
6. Balett: Majdnem minden órán találok valamit, amitől stabilabb leszek.
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2018 December
Angelus Iván:
General notes to the group:
In this semester I had the chance to meet all of you in the three main territories of our school: 1. sharing new information, 2. developing your creativity, 3. developing your social skills. I feel myself and you successful in point one and two, and I have hard time at point 3. with all of you. This is because of the social environment surrounding us. Solving this difficulty is the task itself. The level of cooperation and sincereness is that makes difference in the common success.
My short evaluations will be strict and related to your development related to school requirements:
I will tick Excellent box at who are developing well, basically in harmony with school guidelines, hopefully will reach their goal to become a professional contemporary dancer.
I will sign Satisfactory/Good at those who could make (much) more in their own sake.
I will sign Failed at those who do not live with their possibilities and should change their attitude in order to become more successful or to those who are on the right way to find their own direction that may be out of the school's profile. It can be considered a success too. Failed may mean you have to work on your trajectory out of school or it may mean to stay in school but work on a higher level.
Personal notes:
Emeld magasabbra a lábad, forogj többet, ugorj magasabbat, legyen több árnyalat a mozgásodban, több szín, legyél dinamikusabb, gyorsabb stb… Ne a másikhoz képest legyél jó, hanem a saját elvárásaidnak akarj megfelelni, ja meg az enyémnek! na hajrá! Köszönöm a munkádat!
Várnagy Kristóf:
General notes to the group:
It is my general note, not only to group A-B, or C but for the whole of the students, that it is a heartwarming how you grew into a good and functioning community. It is great to see you supporting each other.
Personal notes:
You have a very pleasant, warm, humble personality. Doing your work quietly, always in the backline. Just for a change I would ask you, to sometimes come to the front, expose yourself, and see what you can learn from that experience.
Urvi Vora:
General notes to the group:
After my brief, intensive interaction with everyone, I have very much enjoyed reading the diverse essays from all of you – very different approaches, levels and processes. My feedback is focussed on your essay and I hope it helps you think of how to push it forward from here as there is always much more to do.
Good luck with all your future plans and upcoming work in the school! It was wonderful to see all your thoughts turn into something on paper!
Personal notes:
Very brave proposition and interesting way to defend it through examples! I appreciated the nuanced understanding of ‘novelty’ and ‘improvisation’ and how you connected them, even though some things needed more clarity.
When you mention pieces by other choreographers, do describe what happens more clearly and explain the statements as if the reader hasn’t seen the work, it is very difficult to enter your line of argumentation. I would’ve liked to read more about the relation between Marten Spangberg and his audience and how it developed. And whether his intentions were there even when he didn’t talk about them.
Further, it would be good to not add new things to your conclusion but rather keep your strong point there. You make some big statements in the final paragraphs which leave me wanting a more detailed explanation.
Lastly, do think of how your argument can be more specific while navigating through the different examples. How can you write in a way that I can imagine all examples and place them in your argument without a lot of effort?
Bakó Tamás:
You are a gifted mover. Kinetic intelligence and capability is present in your dancing. It makes you learn fast and understand from the inside. The dynamics and logic of the material is open to you and meet with your qualities.
In general, relationships of the body parts according to the whole, directions of the movements and their spatial relationships are connected and well organized.
I perceived more trust and listening in the organization of the movements and posture in the last period. Physical and emotional control, alignment strength and structure, and clarity are the fields where I see potentials and need of development. Good work!
MENTOR'S SUMMARY | 2018 December
WORKPLAN | 2019 January
Kipróbálni a lehető legtöbb ötletemet. Foglalkozni akarok a figyelemmel valahogyan.
Néptánc: Improvizálni akarok a ritmusokkal, amiket ott tanulok.
A csináltatás, Sanya óráján szerzett tapasztalatom.
SUMMARY | 2019 June
A When You Brush… Kulcsfontosságú a szemérmetlenség, őszinteség. Ezek voltak a legfontosabbak.
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2019 June
Thimai Nguyen
General notes to the group:
WHILE DANCING
1-Don’t forget to include the head and the sternum in your dancing.
2-Use the momentum of each part of the body to go from one movement to the other.
3-NO NOISE on the floor: The body should melt while going to the floor, and when you run
the weight should be in the front of the foot.
4-Hands, arms long, alive always, reaching out.
5-Legs, ankles and pelvis release fully. FOR REAL!
6-Take care of every transition in what ever you do.
7-TAKE YOUR TIME- ENJOY- PLAY!! Challenge the public and yourself, tease or choose an
angle to approach the public but it should not be mental. You have to jump in the swimming
pool and warm up the water yourself.
8- STOP THINKING. FEEL.
9- Be connected with the other dancer in the room, use and play with there body rhythm, an
intelligent dancer is someone that feels and sees everything. Let go your instinct.
10-RUNING: Never on your heels, the body should be in a diagonal, and the leg behind HAS
TO BE far away and long. NO SHORT LEGS.
Personal notes:
Nice personality.
Don’t put the wait of your body on your heels, work on your centre and use the momentum of your extremities to move from one thing to the other.
Open your mind and find real playfulness in your face and body, it would change the way you move! RELAX the head; it’s part of your body! When there is a stop count 1 before starting moving again.

General notes to the group:
Dear ppl,
This term, due to holidays, and other scheduling reasons I have had considerably less time with you than during the first semester, so I have less material to work with. However, I wish to reflect on your progress from the first term to the second.
Also, I would like to be transparent about my grading system, and hereby give you an explanation, what means what. So as your teacher I have to grade your work on the following scale: Fail, Satisfactory, Excellent
-fail: you can fail by not attending enough classes, or by not achieving adequate progress
-satisfactory: you are being present, however not sufficiently consistent in your work, or not fully embodying yet the concept of the class
-excellent: you can score excellent if your process is clearly seen in your work
Personale notes:
Don´t compare yourself with others, and don`t be bothered by the surroundings. No matter what are the circumstances, mind your own work, and your own work only. Be self-propelled. Being good is not a privilege but a responsibility.

General notes to the group:
Personale notes:
WORKPLAN | 2019 September
My technical work plan
Precizitás A mozdulatok apróbb részleteire szeretnék koncentrálni az órákon is. Anatómiai kapcsolatokra gondolva, milyen a mozdulat dinamikája, ritmusa, minősége, iránya, hangja vagy a légzéssel hogyan tudom támogatni a mozdulatok és mozdulatok egységét. Szándékosan lassítom a mozdulat betanulását, a fenti szempontok szerint vizsgálva őket, a gyors megtanulás helyett. Mindegyik órán ezen szempontok szerint akarok dolgozni.
My creative work plan
Ezekre szeretnék fókuszálni a fél évben.
My cultural work plan
Az utóbbi időben a rajzolás megint fontos lett, képzőművészeti kiállításokra akarok járni. Kritikákat szeretnék írni azokról az előadásokról, amiket megnézek/megérintenek. Hetente egyszer kimozdulok, filmklubot, baráti társaságot látogatni.
SUMMARY | 2019 September

TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2019 December

General notes to the group:
Dear Students!
The goal of the regular written feed back is to help both teachers and students to get a different perspective on your daily work, to get a wider time frame on your development including where you come from and where you go to. The feed back has three parts: general notes to the group, individual feed back and assessment.
You may not know the table that compares and explains different assessment systems we have shared with your teachers as well:
https://tanc.org.hu/wp/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/grading-system-BCDA.pdf
Concerning the work we have realized together this semester I think that it was efficient by it's regularity, discipline, sincerity. You know yourself how deeply, but I can tell in general you seemed to follow the values and guidelines offered by the school. Some of you were more active others less but nobody ignored and went against these possibilities.
This fact was reflected in your successful presence you performed in the three pieces presented in Trafó, where ALL the participants of each dance could show their maximum, and it's level was pretty high in general.
Congratulations to You, and thanks to your teachers!

Personale notes:

General notes to the group:
I am delighted with the work of the class, both on the individual and on the group level. This first half of the year has been characterized by focused, intelligent work. You all had different struggles. Some, on the physical, some on the mental&spiritual plane. But I appreciate your hard work and resilience, how you faced your problems and insisted on solving them. Therefore, I am going to award the whole class with excellent grades. Each one of you deserved it, but for different reasons: some for better technique, some for the systematic, consistent, persistence work. I am giving you all the trust, that it will be a stepping stone into the second half of the year, and that you keep up the spirit for the second part of the season. Stay focused on your goals, stay sharp.

Szemléld humorral a dolgokat, a legkomolyabb munkát is.
You are a gifted mover. Kinetic intelligence and potential is present in your dancing. You understand movements quickly, you are a fast learner but many times precision is missing. I see lot of possibilities for you in investigating details and depth. In general, relationships of the body parts according to the whole, directions of the movements and their spatial relationships are connected and well organised. The dynamics and the logic of the material of the class is open to you and meet with your qualities. It works out for you and you develop continuously. I perceived more trust and listening towards yourself in the last period which granted more stability.
Good work!
WORKPLAN | 2020 January
(pl. a poi)
A kreatív projektekhez a Nőszirmos jegyzeteimet érdemes használnom
A lehetőség szó becsapásként való felfogása
3. Mit keresek:
Egyszerűség kivirágoztatása önmagával (szabályok, matek, fizika, pszichológiával), Tánc felesleg nélkül
Szabad érzetek áramlása a táncban, ami energiává alakul
Komolyan venni, belemenni
Tudatosság: részletek, és mélység?
Ezt a listát, folytatnám a félév során. Csatolhatok, hozzá linkeket előadókról, előadásokról, cikkekről, koreográfusokról…
SUMMARY | 2020 June
Notes one my self for this year (mostly the second half): The canteen time I think made my year extremely efficient, I needed this time to realize again my own motivations without merging them too much, with expectations. Individual work became my best time of the day. This fact fills me with trust. I am in this year much more complete than before, I improved in all things together not separately in ballet, and Tamás…etc. I could say, I should have communicated more, or, I should have work on this and that differently. But the other thing that I learned, is that I can not do short cutes (with understanding before living things) I should have done what I did to be here, I know that my body remembers more than how I can understand with my brain, so I trust that these mistakes will come to my mind when I need them. THREE YEARS: Notes on my self: 1. I have started with enthusiasm and an open mind, which made (and still makes me) easily adapting to situations, and an easy learner. I did not really know what working means, and I was thinking on my self in separate boxes for example: I had the idea that a dancer should be healthy but I was thinking: "every day after school I have to get slim (not together)" I thought I should be making some cool creative stuff, and not thinking for that I could use what is already in me. I thought I should understand things and then do them (which is also true sometimes, but also how could I really get something if I don't try). I wanted to connect wich made me want to come up to the mark, which made me all the time unsatisfied, mostly unmotivated, still I would come in all the time. (Which is just a good thing about me that if I am not alone then whatever is me otherwise I like to work.) Also from this year, I am so grateful to Orsi, the work with her was kind of the base of me keep on believing in my choice to become a contemporary dancer. I wanted to do this school because I saw persons what I haven't seen in the theater anymore this clearly, and the "Szerethető esetlenségek" kept me believe that this is true. 2. Second-year I started to realize that I actually really wanna dance, but I was just walking into obstacles, blaming and feeling shame. Wich had the bright side that I started to also stand up for my self, tell if I don't agree with something, sad thing that I couldn't get to a point to do this point with my colleges too, also because, a good thing, that I started to have more questions. Still not really knowing how to work. But while getting some opportunities I could use what I like the most to give, and show, perform, wich fealed me with more and more wish to work, as well as improved me technically. Also, I started to feel that dancing is personal not just if the topic of the dance is personal. 3. Third-year where I knew what do I want from this year, where I became more connected. I got an inspiration for Nőszirom, which made a big focus to my work, I really started to find a home in dancing. And I started to connect dotes of technical knowledge of the past two and more years: (other stuff from third year is written above) Four main realizations:The question that I start with: What does me being a dancer means to me?Why am I calling my self a dancer? Because I am working on my dance. Working means improving (Kristóf said ones: we are not professionals because we don't do mistakes but because we realize them and do always new ones). Work here means to me: dancing with a focus/ dancing humble: Dancing humble would mean, that I let go of the ("szalonképes énem" "me for public") me, and I do what comes to me. Therefore I learned to improve is not necessarily something to see, or it should not come from the wish to see some improvement. (Kristóf wrote me this feedback a lot, that I should not care so much of how things look like, which I never got, cause I never wanted to be "beautiful" meanwhile ballet but I did really wanted to see the improvement, this year finally I got it) Other than the "passive" letting go part of improvement it needs that I am able to witness, realize, correct, and formulate. That's from technical development, and that is the place for technical development to me. (Make a difference between working practicing, performing.) For I learned that losing my self to movement is the most inspiring way to dance for me, (this is how I get to the humble state of improving) I realized in these three years that its wors for me to work from characters, or characteristic phenomenons. More to let the character of the movement in, and ride the wave of it. Come from movement let in the person! (while I believe it always comes from the person but what is a person anyway?). Another inspiration source: Something that has been a question since the audition 3 years ago: While realizing that the attention of an audience inspires me I also for sure learned that leaning on the help or feedback or thoughts (imagined thoughts) of others would only bring the feeling of shame to me unless I already have my opinion on the object. I learned many directions of where movement can come to form: FROM eas and anatomy with TAMÁs, Alja, Till and a bit differently with ÉVA, FROM backspace and "6D" unity (whole body, floor-standing, all senses) with TIJEN, FROM basic improvisation topics like pushing-pulling, rocking, with MARCELLA, Yrsa, TAMÁS, isolation with MARCO, MIKÓ, WHEN YOU BRUSH, FROM an existing dance language with BATYU and ALEGADO and DORA and KRISTÓF, TIBOR, ATTILA (Kun), or LUCA, BUSA BALÁZS, SESSI, Kámea, Kati, Nőszirom, Körködő, OR EVEN FROM "lexical" knowledge of arts KINGA, URVI, SZ. M. ZSUZSA, FROM over pushing with LUCA, FROM life besides work with THIMAI, KRISZTINA, FROM rhythm with ISABEL, BATYU, DORA, FROM other movement inspirations like MIKÓ poi and TÓDI wall climbing or MARCI work with overcoming obstacles and fears, FROM doing things as effortless as possible, dealing with phisicks or natural weight of the body with MARCO, Anita FROM using my existing abilities, strength, from ATTILA and ADRI, Meggie, actually of all the teachers, FROM inviting the circumstances of several emotions with SANYA (who was dealing with fear), RÉKA, Nina, Verus, FROM individual artistic ideas, RÉKA, ADRI, Orsi, Franci, Gaja, Emma, FROM simple human body relations, (to look, to get closer with my hip first, to be always available) MÁTÉ, TAMÁS As well as I learned some "life hacks" on how to make things better, what to concentrate on: simplicity from IVÁN, spacing ideas from IVÁN, THIERRY DE MEY, unison creating or adapting from FÜLÖP LACI, writing down my thoughts more concentrated URVI, PETRA, ANIKÓ, KINGA, Kati, to not to expect full understanding from anyone, from IVÁN, Franci, on being brave/ seethrough from RÉKA, ADRI, playing with the audience's expectations from FÜLÖP LACI, IVÁN, Emma, to use inspiring objects/costumes, from MIKÓ, RÉKA, Emma, Gaja, to use games for keeping the dancer more interested from IVÁN, Orsi, Anita, ATTILA, Gaja, to keep myself healthy meanwhile, ÉVA, S. H. BOGLÁRKA, R. ZSUZSA, Rita, Verus, to make lighting for a performance from Pelyhe JÁNOS, TIJEN, IVÁN, how to refill my self constantly with energy, form BATYU, WHEN YOU BRUSH, #9, how to bulit a piece structure in a way that serves the dancer and kinde of feads it self where everybody can not her space: WHEN YOU BRUSH, WOUND, how to finde invite personal in to a performers minde SZERETHETŐ ESETLENSÉG, RÉKA, LACI, ADRI, PEACH SEASON, SELFPORTRAITS, how to ask, or show opinion through asking: Kati, Yrsa, TAMÁS, ( I wrote to my self one-one sentence to every classmate and teacher what I learned more from them, but that I would like to keep personal, because it could seem more like a feedback while it is not just that simple.) Whenever I am lost in the topics above I just have to look back to these classes (and the notes of these classes) for a starter to find solutions. It is clearly a lot of knowledge in my body and in my brain. A bit like how I write in my thesis: after knowing everything on what one has to concentrate meanwhile dancing legényes you have to let go and trust in the reflex of presence. Or a bit like what Alexander teaches go through all focus points, then let go and do. (That is what Kristóf says too). What is important to me now, is to have an inspiration, dance, and connect the dots of knowledge, unify, and work. Thank you for everybody, whom I learned from in these three years!
TEACHERS' EVALUATIONS | 2020 June
Farkas Zoltán
General notes to the group:
Mindenki a saját szintjének megfelelően teljesít (maximálisan). Ehhez ők is kellettek.

After reading all the evaluations I wrote to you in the past years I would like to highlight some of the thoughts from them that appear relevant for the now and may relate to your professional future. You arrived form theatre studies and folk dance to develop and learn new forms of dance and explore your creative and artistic potentials. You came as a gifted mover. You had great physical skills, qualities like agility, natural moving, flexibility, fluidity, quick learning. And you had the hunger for move and curiosity about the artistic potentials of different dance forms. That grounded you and kept you motivated and served your development. However some hesitance and doubts got on the way time to time of an even progress. But you made your battles, faced the struggles and kept working. You had an easy access to the material of my classes. The logic of the material was open to you right away and met with your qualities. You were quickly progressing but it took time to permit and invite a change in depth, aim for precision and accuracy. Skills, logic, material, availability, coordination, alignment, awareness, articulation was available to you but you had to accept that it takes and requires time and you have to work for it. That work has been addressed and adopted and came with achievements. This is what I wrote to you the last time: You are a gifted mover. The logic of the material of the class is open to you and meet with your qualities. It works out for you. And you develop continuously. I perceived more trust and listening towards yourself in the last period which granted more stability. I believe the last sentence is the most important in regard of what could help you the most to support your work and development in the future. Listening to yourself and investigate your own physical reality. Availability, limitations, capacities and change can be detected, allowed and initiate from there. And you have to have a trustful environment. Trust yourself. Trust the people around. And ask for trust. Creativity and research were also important fields in your practice. You made several movement language, improvisation and choreographic researches. Folk as a foundation kept you grounded and brought confidence and inspiration. All these attempts, interests and knowledge developed and enriched your dance and broaden your practice. And this weird times of isolation also provided chances to try out new ways of communicating the work you do. You experimented with the media of video and ways of framing dance and possibilities of interpretations. Your studies are finishing here but learning and working goes on. New doors are opening. I'd like to say thank you for the work we've done in the past years and congratulate to you! And wish you a successful professional life and future! Bakó Tamás

General notes to the group:
Dear Students! I think your group as a group could build up itself and you reached a very high level of cooperation by the end of the year: You have learned a lot from each other, You helped each other, You accepted and supported each other. The life was calm and moderated, even tempered. That is good for the calm development, accumulation. you did it and learned from it. The same time I think that you haven't gone really close to each other, didn't lived big cathartic moments together, you tolerated and respected each other so much that you were allowed to do anything, may be nobody would warn the other if anything happened. May be I am wrong and it happened time to time, just I remained out of those exciting, red-hot flaming situations, so valuable for an artist. May be you had them somewhere else and not in the school. The life in school was free from the active ignorance of the rules of cooperation, and active adversary actions. I gave more space and time to mistakes and omissions, misunderstandings, and it was very much up to you if you lived with certain possibilities or you missed to profit from them. I think it was a good strategy. Who and when wanted, to do something could learn from it, and who didn't want or couldn't was allowed to loose that possibilitiy. It's very good to know that (almost) all of you seem to find a good solution for the next year, I think we could encourage and help you. With the 7 of you we have to speak about the next year's common tasks and possibilities. I will be strict about my evaluations.I think you ALL developed a LOT, and you ALL can SUCCESSFULLY further develop. When I evaluate your development satisfactory or excellent I make a difference of how far you could get if you did everything possible. Especially with last year students I also wished to relate your actual state to an external general level of a beginner professional dancer.
Personale notes:
Remélve kikerülve a sokszor ellentétes hatások erőteréből az önállóság segít majd érvényre juttatni, hogy mindig – vagy legalább legtöbbször – a javát tud adni annak, amit tudsz éleslátásban, (ön)iróniában, tanult tudásban és hozzáadott kreatív eredményben.

General notes to the group:
This special period was a great opportunity to develop your own working methods. As you can see, circumstances can change quickly, so it is worthwhile to create a system in which your professional life can remain constant. The individual work you further develop and extend into other areas of your life will make you independent of world conditions. Thats the true power and freedom when you draw your path with your own hands … and it's persistent, continuous, never-ending work. Enjoy the flow!
Personale notes:
