APPLICATION with all data – including portrait photo, 15 topics you are really interested in – as required
– CV
– MOTIVATION LETTER – specify your goals, and explain why do you think BCDA can assist to reach them
– FULL BODY PHOTO
– VIDEO LINK – 1-2 minute: class and/or performance and/or improvisation. Whatever you like and want to show us.

Dance Classes will include different techniques as Contemporary, Modern, Contact, Ballet, Folk and more
Creative methods will include group and individual improvisation, making composition, learning repertory

Practical questions will be answered by our receptionists:

Administrative issues will be treated by Kamilla Reidl.
In pedagogical and artistic issues turn to Iván Angelus.

Accompanying guests will be welcome to wait in our buffet and use rest rooms as signed by receptionists.

Please
– be on time
– eat, phone out of the studios
– water in plastic bottle are allowed in the studio only
– dance barefoot in comfortable, tight dresses
– wear ballet shoes at ballet class, folk dance shoes or clean sport shoes at folk class
– jewelry, piercings, bracelets etc. will be allowed out of the studios
– keep your environment healthy and clean.

Use our changing rooms for changing dresses. You can leave dresses in one of the free cabinets. Values as money, passport, electronic devices will be safe in your bag taken with you all the time.

Warm up in the studio signed by our receptionists.

Our buffet works on a self-service / self-paid, decency system. Pay before consuming. Ask for change if necessary at the reception. Drinks will be available, but as the food offer is catered by our volunteering students, we can not guarantee a wide and/or sufficient supply. You can use our refrigerators, microwave ovens. Keep everything clean and hygienic after yourself.

Conversations will take place in English, individually, in the presence of committee members. Professional and personal topics will be discussed.

In order to anticipate health risks a medical consultation will be done individually upon request of the committee and/or the applicant.

Enrollment decisions will be taken at the end of each day, when the committee will announce YES and NO decisions. All applicants will get a final decision at the end of the last day.

Official enrollment to BCDA will be effective after the payment of 500 € non-refundable registration fee – for non-Hungarian citizens – right after getting a positive decision. 1500 € tuition will be paid before the 8th of August if otherwise not agreed. Two installment payment will be possible upon request.

Hungarian citizens will not pay registration fee this year yet. 465 000 HUF tuition will be paid in 3 equal installments, before the 8th of July, August and September, if no other written agreement will enter in force before these deadlines.

These payments and the participation at the Creative Week between the 2nd and 9th of August, will be the indispensable conditions of starting the school year the 31st of August Monday with individual warm up at 8.15 in the studio, if no other written agreement will enter in force before these deadlines.
