The quietude, the thrill

an evening with the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy and the Ú.T. Program in the Trafó Studio (7 pm.) Theatre (8 pm.), and Club (9 pm.) on Saturday, 21st December 2019.

Please help to provide a nice translation if you can:
Ma már nem is zakatol,
minél jobban száguld,
annál rezzenéstelenebbül halad,
ami gyors.
A rohanás és a mozdulatlanság lenyomatait látjuk.
A nyugalom és a remegés …

HORIZON Creative Group
The presentation offers an insight to the theatre-based debating program designed for high-school students in which we can reflect, learn and think together about a population who are often heard of but not so well-known: people who are living with moderate intellectual disability. Horizon Creative Group was founded to use different educational art forms to talk about and to work with people who are socially on the periphery. This production is a cooperation of theatre and special needs education experts, the team members of the group and students of Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Needs Education at Eötvös Lóránd University.
Directed by FARKAS Atilla
Performed by FÜSI Anna, KÁRPÁTI Liza, RÉFI Dorina, SIMON Mátyás, SZEPESI Dorottya, TORONYAI Mária
Moderated by SIMON Mátyás

INFO

Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy – working since 2004 – is in a mayor transition: a new course structure is introduced. Auditions will be announced to Teacher MA program only until the whole new structure will be launched (hopefully already in September 2022) with performing arts courses – focused especially to the contemporary dance and the art of circus – and completed by production, technology, research, pedagogy and other courses.

New Performing Arts Foundation (since 1998) started Ú.T. (The Road) program with the financial support of Ministry of Human Resources this fall. "The main goal of the program is making the relationship between spectator and artist, audience and art more complete and rich."
Ú.T. Program is led by Ivan Angelus supported by production consultants Anikó Rácz and Petra Péter and artistic consultants Martin Boross and Tamás Bakó.
